flo, do you have bright futures or fl. academic scholarships?,... fl academic scholarship pays entire tuition + books and bright futures pays 75%,... just keep that GPA up... i lost my scholarship for my soph year and then took basketball, soccer, jogging, drug and alcohol abuse, and then b/c i knew so much about the drugs and alochol i became a TA for the class and taught it,.. my gpa got the needed boost and resumed my scholarship,...
funny but yeah UF had a class called jogging, either that or Growing fruit for fun and profit were my 2 most ridiculous classes |
hehehe
i got the bright futures 75%. i'll have that for a long time. my gpa is at 3.73. it'll take a big hit at the end of the semester, but i doubt i'll fall below a 3.0, its only 12 hours i took this semester
so overall i got (per semester):
Bright Futures: pays 75% of my tution
Federal Stafford Loan: $1571
Federal Unsub Stafford (dunno what this is, if its free money or a loan, i dunno): $1179
Federal Pell Grant: $350
Florida Student Asst Grant: $682.50
Estimated Florida Medallion Scholarship: $1000 (i'm guessing this is just 75%)
Florida State Univeristy Grant: $850
but i'm going to summer school, and for that i have no finacial aid, not even bright futures (cuz they took that shit away for the summer). so i'm basically only getting money back.
but fuck it. its free and its made me VERY happy.
