Hre's an example: I went to go see PvD with some TAs and took this girl along who was a friend of a good friend of mine. So we're all partying it up, then she goes to me "It's ok if you go and talk it up with some of your friends, you don't have to stay here with me the whole night." So I said "ok cool". What I didn't know (yeah I'm inexperienced) is that you are SUPPOSED to stay with the girl the entire night anyway. It's some sort of test to see if you are actually interested in them. I find that to be so fucking stupid. I mean WHY do that? Why not talk to the guy, find out if they're interested that way instead of making them jump through a fucking hoop or lie about it? Meh...women. (also while all this was going on at the party, she met some dude while I was partying it up with the friends and is now awaiting his phonecall).

I will be that last to argue that some girls aren't duplicitous. But guys do the same thing. My big problem with most guys I date is they say they're fine with the kind of person I am, they're fine with everything, but they're not. I can't tell you how many different guys have said they're fine with a situation and blow up over it later.

My problem is the notion that only women act that way, because it is utterly and completely untrue.

its just weird that Ive never wanted any of the girls Ive been with

listen to this. I get a call 3 am. Im like booty call woot. So i go over with 6 pack of Guinness (for me, buck a bottle bizatch ) and she makes me some tea, and then gives me a massage cuz my shoulder had been all messed up.

She lives in a loft. So her couch (which i found out exactly 1.5 hours later) is her bed (it unfolds). So were watchin a movie, and I had thought I liked her. I just reach a point like 20 mins into the movie and say "Why dont you just come sit with me"

she scoots over, i hold her.

yada yada yada

so the couch is unfolded into a bed now. Now im totally into the movie so Im not holding her anymore haha. So she kisses my cheek.

at that instant i realize that 1)I dont like her like that even though I thought i might and 2) I am obligated to kiss her.

so I just kinda roll over her and start kissin to get it over with. and she was terrible. after a minute or so i (still cant believe i did this) roll BACK over and say "ite, well lets watch the movie for a bit"

she starts goin after me and I dont be on bottom no matter what so I gotta do that. Finally i get up to piss and just kind of stare at myself in the mirror for a while thinking "What the fuck are you doing, you like her as a friend , she isnt datable" so I walk out its now 5 am and ive had a few beers and I say im outtie, see her later.

Im always questioning if I like someone and I never make a move, then they move on me and I realize, nope...dont like em. But im totally neutral until that point.

It actually kind of bugs me ive never liked anyone. Theres been some hotties, but I always get turned off, even when they are straddling me trying to excavate my tonsils with their tongue and I want to leave.

and no im not gay lol

my response was "oh , well if you guys have already thought about it..."

All my best friends, some 10 years +, have been cut off by me, cuz theyll move out of convenience range (ie california, me in seattle) so I see no logical point in continuing talking to them.

Like if someone is around Im an awesome friend, Ill hop in the car so you can use carpool lane and take a 3 hour trip to pick up a disc or something, but if you move away, im like, ah well thats over, no regrets.

Its my latest neurosis, thinking that I dont care about anything, and then not caring if I dont or do...its a vicious cycle.

Plus I tend to set my bars high, so pretty much every girl I meet is immediately placed on a friendship rung.
