A huge stirdy structure like that requires tons of explosives, and it's very common to detonate the charges at the bottom first so that the structure can fall down on it's footprint in a controlled demolition. Keeping in mind how over engineered the WTC was, it would require high power explosives in the base of the structure, which would also melt the steal. What's so hard to understand about that?

nobody (including you) has EVER seen a building demolished by explosives fall down the way the WTC 1&2 did.

Thermate does , and the traces for it were found in the what remaining steel from the columns wasn't illegally melted and shiped out immediately, along with sulphur, potassium and manganese.
