i like the colors of Sid's name and yours. i'd play around with those same gradient schemes on the text on the bottom half as well... the purple for the "29" after "July" looks really bright and out of place, and i think the black text is a little boring when you could easily incorporate the same colorful rainbow gradients across all the text.
other than that, i like it. clean and simple ftw.
imo.

lol, but if i put gradients everywhere it takes away from the fact that there are only gradients in some places
