it was sad at first but towards the end everyone was just sharing some pretty funny stories. i hope the positive vibes we walked out with help the family.

We lost one of our own, and the emptiness has already set in for most of us who knew him best, and I can't help to think what will be like the next time we are all out together, whether its at another beach bash or event at the clubs, you think to yourself, where the hell is DA he should be here by now, then a few seconds later you realize it, you can't help it, its that cold hard feeling you get, like what the fuck, why did he have to leave us, It will take time, one day at a time, but this forum won't be the same, much less being out with one another, and you think, dam I wish he was here right now, cause this is a great event, all we can do is continue what we have been doing for years, and keep on doing it.

I couldn't sleep after his memorial service so I wrote....

I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU

I am writing this at such an emotional moment in my life. I have only dealt with 1 loss prior to this and it was of a family member - never once from a close friend.

Raul was an amazing person. You are blessed if you had the pleasure to meet him.. EVEN ONCE!

You guys could never imagine how many personal messages I received on TA and FB. They have ALL helped me deal with the loss of my best friend These messages were from DA's friends who i may not have known and those who I do know.

The grieving process for me included a period of guilt. Was I such a really good friend to Raul? Were we as close as I thought we were? I thank you for helping me see this.

Thank you TA for introducing me to someone so special.

THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR CONCERNS! Every-single-word you have said has made things so much easier for me.



... At his memorial Lis made sure to let his family know how many friends Raul had from ALL over.

Just heard the news, Very tragic, I only got to know him when I went to some of the events back in the days. He was a huge trance music fan, Always going on about Rank 1 being his favorite artist, he was also a gamer.

He will be missed as one of Miami TA's biggest contributors.

even though i havent seen raul in yrs im still distraught over this.. yeah he was dark and had his own unique personality. even back then i realized he was unhappy about something. you could tell. only his family and close friends will know what was really bothering him. as he kept to himself for the most part.

he defintly had a lot of friends and i never met anyone in my life that was so hardcore about trance. so much so that when i started to like house he lead the charge against me along with damon (who always hated me) off TA lol .. Raul was a true TA. its a shame what occured and a bigger shame intervention could not come soon enough

from lurking the boards on and off you can tell he was loved esp by the remaining old school crew... he was a nice guy who sadly left us too soon.

i remember once we drove up together to Mama Mias for markus with Arturo. (best times for me with the TA's) and of course the old school get togehers he helped coordinate at that place that used to be next to space when eric and other TA's spun and even Edgar as we played games

was a kid at heart ... loved games even more than I do. while we disagreed about music tastes the last time i saw him we def agreed on videogames .. its a real shame. ive been thinking about him since i found out 2 days ago by reading the boards.. cant get it out of my head i cant believe what happened.
