does anyone know of any good sites that can give you wav files of say, waves crashing on the shore, or rain dripping onto the groud, or the wind blowing through the trees.......... well you know what i mean

good question!
it took me hours to find good quality samples of stuff liek that. the best way is too just to search for rain.wav etc.
i ended up ripping some of hte sounds form othe tracks, like the rain in the outro of armins mix of dido.
