yes, you can get away with reason only

many people here create top quality tunes using reason only:
Endre, Re-Grooved (released a remix to ferry corsten !), Mart,Mr.Mystery, Gil Shwartz (he did some very cool Hard Trance tunes too...and thats what you want right?)
also there sure are much more people, sorry to evryone i didnt mention

there's a little price difference and erm.. you won't go far with logic if you don't have some hw synths. But it's a very good program, I use it too, very good fx plugins. Midi is ok.

Reason indeed is a good program to start with and get to learn things before you get into buying synths and other studio eq.

yes, you can "get away" with using just reason, though it is kinda lacking in the effects department (though i havent tried 2.5, so i wouldnt really know anymore). Wonderful program. Babies come when a mommy and a daddy love eachother very much, so they pray and pray and eventually a stork takes a baby out of a cabage patch, and delivers it to the mommy and daddy. there is no sex involved, i swear.
