the best thing to do, in my opinion, is to record the sound with a sound editor like sound forge, or cool edit pro...i use sound forge 6.0 and its great...it records perfectly and with the newly recorded wav, you can convert immediately into mp3 format, choosing the kbps that you prefer..i personally use 192 kbps most frequently...anyhow, i hope this helps...and if you sound forge, jus pm me...might be able to help you...
