I think I may end up getting a powerbook and logic gold or plat...
About your question: It's definitely possible. I don't know how you actual set up logic for recording audio though... make an audio track, select it, and try hitting the record button. It may work, providing your sound card is set up to recieve audio input properly within logic. But knowing logic, there's probably something else you have to do...
Now, what would be really great is to have your mixer spit out each channel separately, and then have logic record each on a separate track...
