i don't know about you but a prerequisite for any track i listen to is "listenable quality"

Most of you would know Lisa Gerrard from the Gladiator soundtrack but she's been around for quite some time as the female vox/other half of Dead Can Dance (or Deadcandance). Which is much more of the ambient/folk and music.

umm, off the top of my head Loreanna McKennit is a lovely singer who is similar to Deadcandance in respect they draw upon a lot of ethnic music for inspiration.
