I heard the above speaker at the shop, and I liked its sound. I would like to hear suggestions from people that might've heard it, or heard about the Gale company, since this was the first time I saw their name

Don't like the specs on it. Doesn't really get to the low end of lows and only 90db, how much are they?
ps> not to mention they are not DJ speakers if that was your intention to get them for. For home audio you can a whole lot better speakers and better looking too. i.e

You shouldn't give so much attention to the specs.. You can have 2 speakers with the exact same specs, one will cost $10 and will sound bad and one will cost $1000 and will actually match the specs.
I'm intrested in opinions from people who use them
I intend to use them in my room, for listening to music and when spinning to myself (no parties or something like that..)
I'm paying $455, which is a good price over here... (remember, Israel isn't cheap )

I have never heard of Gale speakers (but there are LOTS and LOTS of speaker makers). A great site to read about speakers (and other audio stuff) is www.audioreview.com I used that site when I got my speakers and amp (BIC America DV62si and a AudioSource Amp/One). Unfortunatly I could not find the Gale speakers you were talking about on the site so no reviews.
