Hi, I was wondering about this the other day. If I have a set that is over 80 minutes and I go ahead and make a cue sheet for it, then burn it usnig CDR-Win, will it be burnt as an mp3cd rather than a regular wav cd? I only ask because I've seen a few cues for sets over 80 minutes and was trying to make sense of it...thanks.

If you want it to burn as a wav cd, it won't fit as 16bit stereo. If you want to burn it as an audio cd, it won't fit. I don't think a burning program will automatically change it to mp3. You will have to set it to burn as an mp3, if it is an mp3 as it stands. Otherwise, you will have to convert it.

You do know that 90 minute (870 Meg) blank cd's are becoming widely available now... I picked up a spindle of them the other day. They were made by Melody I believe.

Just use one of those and you shouldn't have any problems burning the set so that it's a regular audio cd.

Ehh thats not really my question. CDRWin definately converts mp3 to wav automatically...I'll try to be a little clearer - If a set I have is over 80 minutes and I go to burn it with a cue, will it just burn as an mp3cd? For example, lets say I spliced together Tiesto in Concert which is like 5 hours...if I made up a cue file for the entire set, would it burned as an mp3cd with one big file but split into say, 60 different tracks?
