i think this is an idea worthy of revisiting. i've seen a lot of thread lately about filesharing etc that could totally be avoided if new members were tested on the basic rules here.
maybe a five question quiz would be fine. this doesn't have to be a an inital part of the registration process, but the secondary part when the person has to confirm their registratoion.
i hardly think this would be an inconvenience or a deterrant. what does everyone else think?

i bumped this thread rather than start a new thread on the same topic or is that a no no? i see people get flamed for starting new threads when there are plenty of threads on the same topic (e.g. favorite classic trance, first trance cd, etc.), and i get beef for not doing that and using the search function.
what about the substance of the idea, not the messenger?
