From Frankfurt to Bochum

Hey guys. I'm landing in Frankfurt on wednesday the 9th and i need to get to bochum or atleast any city close to it... my ride got messed up so now i need to find a way to atleast get to a city close to bochum, dusseldorf essen dortmund whatever... i was told a train ticket will cost me about 90 euro and thats way out of my budget, i was wondering if a bus ticket would be cheaper or if u guys know any cheaper way of geting there, where can i go online to check for bus tickets? thanks for your help.

90 euro is too much! i dont think that it costs so much from frankfurt to bochum! about 30 or 40 maybe 50 but not 90 Euro.

edit: i checked the "deutsche bahn" internetsite, u havent named the time so i tried 12:00 am: Frankfurt(Main)Hbf
Bochum Hbf

start:11:44 arrive: 14:09 hours: 2:25 train changing: twice PRICE: 58,60 EUR

start:12:30 arrive: 14:52 hours: 2:22 train changing:0 PRICE: 64,80 EUR

start:12:46 arrive: 15:09 hours: 2:23 train changing: one time PRICE: 64,20 EUR
