marco v playing a bit of prog isn't really new at all
in an interview he stated that his style of music ranges from progressive to tribal to techno to trance

he is the man

when he had to play at sensation black he must spin some hardstyle so he wanted to play at white, so he played a bit softer, but better then hardstyle

Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.

I'd hardly call ferry's set commercial and Armin plays like that all the time

Marco V's new sets are still good but not as good as his previous sets from 01 and 02, however he still seems to hype the crowd which is good.

i don't think that it was just his sensation set that sounded different...i don't mind a little bit harder style...i mean i like most of old picotto and marco v, i was just curious...haven't dled anything from either lately...i think mauro has gotten a little too hard for my tastes though...

If anything, I think Gielen's set was the most commercial. Ferry's set sucked ass IMO...but that was one of Armin's best sets. Overall, Sensation White was pretty damn good so I don't see why you're complaining.
