I want to buy a turntable.

I want something I can listen to records on. I may start spinning in the future, so if you have one that you want to sell PM me, but right now I don't have the money for a complete set.

cuz for like $150 you can get a brand new Numark TT-1650... i know they aint the best, but they aint the worst either.. and numark sells starter sets for around $300-350, which includes 2 direct drive tables, a very basic 2 channel mixer with 2 channel eq, and semi-decent headphones. and gemini's sets are even cheaper i think (i might have them backwards though).

good places to look for these deals are either ebay, or dealtime.com

they're both really good, and if you're gonna look on ebay, then buy through an ebay store, or a power seller, this way it's unlikely that you'll get screwed.

Only one way to go TECHNIC! The turntables aren't as pricey nowadays cause they came out with new ones. You can get a mk2 for 300-350 and if you get lucky you can get m3d's for the same price! if you see the m3d's for this price get them its you're best bet for good tables.

what are some good sites to check out/buy dj equipment?

the best place i've found to buy this dj stuff is dealtime.com. ebay is also good to look for deals. you can also check individual record stores, or a place called guitar center or sam ash if you live in the states...

dude, if i can get the decks for less than 250, i am going for it. i can turn a profit... you can have it actually, i'm done with bidding on it. found another pretty good deal.
