i have my own personal dream journal that i've been using for over a year now.

too bad i don't remember many of my dreams.

Ok....worst nightmare of my life (I was 6).

Background: I had this little stuffed teddy bear with only one eye that was my dad's from when he was a kid. I called him Radar.

Dream:

I was lying in my bed wide awake (in the dream) and cringing with fear because 8 feet away in my open closet Radar had come to life and had evil, red-glowing eyes. He was riding a tiny flying saucer and was flying back and forth and laughing maniacally. I thought he wanted to kill me or something.

I was unable to sleep with the closet doors open for a long time after that. I always thought Radar was going to get me.

Wow....That's fucked up......

I had this weird dream where I was at my old house (i've moved recently), and everything looked normal except for my neighbours house wasn't there, and in place of it was this old victorian house. I went inside and this man walks up to me. the house is completely victorian. The man goes into this room that i for some reason knew was the bathroom, and i also knew that i had to wait for him. while i was waiting this woman (dressed in victorian fashion of course) walked up to me, and walked into the room beside the bathroom and slammed the door. I looked through the dor to the bathroom, and i saw a hand becking me. So i turned around and began walking up the stairs. I don't know why, but when the man beckoned me, i just got the instinct to turn away frm it. I walked up this flight of stairs, and when i got to the top, I called out "hello?" and i looked to my left and saw a teddy bear wavung and saying "hello" back. I turned and ran down the stairs screaming, but it wasn't my scream, and that scared me even more. when i got outside, everything was normal, but there was like 50 people standing around just talking. then my 2 friends whom i know rollerbladed up to me, and they both tripped and fell in complete unision. It was weird. so i stopped screaming and started laughing......

then i woke up.

.....i have had weirder dreams than that too, that was my most recent one.

Well let's see...

Last night I remember about 7 dreams...but this one stood out. I was in a cathedral that was run by some monk like kids. All the walls were white and there were many staircases that led to 'various' places with in this self contained unit. The reason I was there was not very certain, but it had to do with getting an answer from a person in a different "part" of the cathedral. Now I summoned one of these monkish people whom led me up around the outside of the unit on one of these staircases to a door. The outside wasn't necessarily outdoors...basically anything out to open air was just a white void, either that I didn't care to finish the spectrum I was in, or it was in fact in the middle of "nowhere" He stated to go in, and enter a stall...in the stall there was a light switch which you turned off, and when turned on I would end up where i needed to be. Fair enough. I went in to this small room...hell it was a bathroom, by itself on the outer wall of this place..kinda wierd, as it looked like the bathroom of the D Concourse of SeaTac airport...minus the toilets...so it really wasn't a bathroom...any I entered the stall, found the switch and turned it off. As the room went dark there became a red firey glow about the room. Now I could sense that if I turned the switch back too soon, I would end up not where I wanted to be, and certain "firey" death, so I just hung out until I basically envisioned who I was supposed to meet. Flipped the switch on and I exited the stall in a completely different location...pretty much not on the world of which i started...Presented myself to the old geezer I was after to ask the critical questions and receive the vital information I requested in order to return to wherever I started...

...and that's where I left off.

I'll probably pick up that one sometime tonight...and If i'm not happy with the outcome, I'll just do it all over again...insert a hot chick companion or something to make it more interesting. I remember a lot of dreams, what % of the total is unknown because I don't know how many I have, but I am in the "middle" of about 6 dreams that I just pick up and leave off throuought the week/month etc. Parts I don't care for I just re-write, or hack....still however I have a lot of control of what goes on, but even I surprise myself sometimes....

Oh and the best dreams I have fairly often (when I am mildly stressin about getting a project done at work) :

When you dream an ENTIRE DAY of work and all the miscellaneous crap...then you wake up and realize it was all a dream and you are now late because you hit the snooze bar 3 too many times.

Cool idea. I think I'm going to write down my dreams when I wake up. I usually forget them though.

weird

i sorta had a lucid dream the other nite.

this summer there were a couple of times where i woke up and wen't back to sleep and after i had fallen asleep again found myself concious of that fact that i was in a dream.
anyway, i was having a conversation the other nite with a friend of mine, and we started talking about lucid dreaming and how this summer i had sorta had lucid dreams.
so that night (or morning rather) i had one.
i woke up to my alarm at 7 in the morning. decided i would go to the 11:00 class rather than the 9:00 class i was signed up for, so i reset my alarm and fell back asleep. when i feel asleep i found msyelf dreaming, and told myself "i'm dreaming, cool, well now its time to have sex." next thing i remember i'm driving around in this jeep type vehicle through some rocky weird environment with some hot girl i really can't remember too much about.
funny thing was, everything was animated like a video game. and i remember telling myself, shit i don't want this to be like a video game, i want this to be real. but for some reason i couldn't change the environment.
i remember having sex with the girl in the back of the jeep.
funny thing is tho, when i would think about the girl and focus my perceptions on here, i would find myself in the back of the jeep.
when i thought about myself and my actions i would find myself in my own bed.
my perceptions sorta flipfloped back and forth.
weird stuff.
but it was a damn good dream.

I think I need to start taking hallucinogenic drugs, I don't remember any of my dreams anymore!

I have alot of strang dreams, but i forget them. I rember a dream where i waken up in my bed (still in the dream), and with in a minute i was killed by someone, then i awaken again (still in the dream) and i was killed again, and this repeated about 8 tomes, when i did realy wake up i stil thort i was in the dream, and i waited for 2minutes to be killed again. Ever time i was killed, it was in a diffrent way.
