Well, topic says it, my cat often sneaks in behind me and eats my leftovers, basically sauce or very small pieces of meat since I usually throw the bigger pieces right away...
I'm just wonderin if it can be bad for him on the long run, till what point can a cat's stomach digest human food??
Oh and also why do some people tell me that milk is fine while some others disadvice it...
There

I love cats but i don't think it would do any harm if they are just scraps just not to much i don't think. but really is human food so much different than animal food besides the flavor? i give my cats canned food and that stuff looks like shit smells sort of good but i wouldnt eat it but me point is the canned food is all meat n shit so i don't think that scraps would hurt him unless he chokes lol
my cats

One of my cats likes to devour freshly self-caught mice and rats on a regular basis, and he's perfectly healthy. So I wouldn't worry about yours eating leftovers - just make sure it doesn't consume anything with bones in that could pose a chozing hazard.
As for the milk thing, click here for something interesting on the subject.

Hey thanks for the link
"We see cats drinking milk in commercials, old tv shows and the like. But the fact of the matter is that most cats are lactose intolerant"
That answers it, a bit surprising..
