If CD's are your primary medium, get a single CD player
If vinyl is your primary medium, and you're short in money, get doubles.

I agree. I use turntables 95% of the time so I went with a dual. If I didnt have decks, I would have went CDJs.

i prefer dual cd players but that might be because thats what i learned on (denon 2600f). i am not one of those people that thinks that cd players need to look or act like turntables. with that being said, i have a set of dual cd players that the right drive is about to die on, and i'm not to happy. but i like being able to put a 19in mixer and dual cd decks into a case and put that in between a set of tts.

i prefer singles, becuase the design is good, the mixer is in the middle, umm other people can see it when they dance on the floor, and its not boring (for me) when u play with singles, i dont like to play with duals cuz i find it boring.

I dont care
As long as it works- doesnt bother me
i use: denon 2600, 2000, 1800F,and 4000 every week and they do the job very well.
Dont see the point of trying to make cd act like vinyl- because its not.

ive used singles and doubles, but singles are way more fun, plus i am used to 2 turntables on either side of a mixer, and i guess the 2 singles help simulate that. also having two separate units can prevent mixups (which has happened to me once and holy shit that sucked royally- thats why i like to stick to vinyl anyway :P)
