PvD featured in October Issue of Remix Mag:
I received my October issue of Remix Magazine the other day, and I was quite surprised to see our man on the cover. I highly recommend this to ALL music fans, including non PvD fans, because this magazine likes to tilt their article towards the technical production of music and dj'ing. Some interesting points covered in the article include:
- A refined list of Paul's Studio Equipment
- What inspired him to produce some of the tracks on Reflections, including the track Reflections, which is based on his joy everytime he returns back home to BErlin from a gig
- some advice on bass compression and modulation
- how he convinced Steve Dash of Phazon Sound Systems to change the speaker setup because it did not fit his "signature" bassline when he used to spin at Good 'old Twilo NYC.
Finally, the pictures give him a new look, sort of with a blown out haircut..kinda cool...I'll try to post a web article whenever its available...
