first off...i know this isn't trance in any sense at all, but this is for any electronic music, so w/e
so has anyone else heard any of this guy's stuff?
just bought one of his CDs yesterday, 'the action packed mentallist brings you the fucking jams', and its absolutely insane
he mixes together all sorts of like pop/hip hop top 40 songs together with really fast beats and almost like DnB style beats in some places
at one point he has the background track from get your freak on by missy elliot goin, also the background from big pimpin goin, and eminem's guilty conscience over it. i'm not really a fan of any of those three but he works it SOOOO WELL
and then all but get your freak on drops out, and the song from ferris bueller's day off (the 'ooooooh yeeeeeeeeah') one comes in
Good to see somebody else likes the Kid on here as well. I love the stuff he did with Lesser,and his dj sets are usually 100% mental and out of this world, splicing together genres from the backyard to the club and back again with manic hiphop accapellas on top of it all. I HAVE to see this man live some time. Now if only his damn albums could make it over here...
Btw, check out "Luke Vibert Can Kiss My Indie-Punk White Boy Ass" and "Damn Dre Why You Always Hating On Me" for more hilarity.

I liked his remix of A-Ha's "Take On Me" a lot. I heard it on a radio show and it sounded like he was mixing it live and performing additional effecting.
