Gemini XL-500II?

Does anyone have any experience with this turntable: Gemini XL-500II. Costs 132£. Is it good enough for mixing?

I have 2 and I'm soon going to be selling them for Techs. They're not horrible but I got them 2nd hand and the guy did a a lot of scratching on them so theres very little torque left and well, they just dont hold a beat as well as they should....save for techs

I've used these a lot. They are good tables for the price, but if you can save get the 2400's or 2410's.

Those 2400's are very decent. But, the problem is, they were too decent for gemini. They don't make them anymore. Since they launched the PDT6000, they wanna increase the PDT6000 so they canceled the PT2100 and the PT2400. But, you can still buy them used ofcource.

Mhh...this doesn't give me any optimism. Don't think there's anything better for that money.

If you're not sure whether or not you're going to do this long term, go with CD players. You'll save yourself a ton of cost on vinyl if you decide it's not for you later. If not, you can still buy some turntables later and you'll be fairly good at beatmatching by then.

Nowadays CD DJing is fairly standard too, do you'll probably end up getting them later too...
