When I load up Logic Audio I'm immediately confronted with an error screen that reads....
"This application has failed to start because DirectIO.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem"
Then after this screen another warning screen appears and says
Direct I/O
"DirectIO.dll" or
"DirectIOLink.dll" not found
(-10193)
And then after this screen another screen appears as well that reads...
ASIO:
Hardware is malfunctioning
(-999)
I'm using a delta 44 soundcard that i've just recently installed. How do I fix these problems?
Maybe the audio driver 1 and 2 tabs neeed to be configured correctly which I don't know how to do properly.
Can anyone lend some assistance please?
..Thanks..

reinstall the program...
a lot of times when you get these .dll problems it could be because you recently deleted something else that uses that same .dll and its now missing. reinstalling it will add the .dll back into the computer ...i had this problem a lot too...
note: to avoid this when you delete a program it asks you if you want to delete all files associated with that program...say no to all.

Direct IN.OUT would be your asio driver. You will need to reinstall it to get Logic to work.
