how to make disco synths?

u know tracks like...deux - deux...or any old disco tracks that have riffs like it..how are these made and can vsts do it?

Well, I'm not exactly sure about this, but I guess the most disco sound are samples of old records. You can create some sounds with the synths nowadays, but I have absolutely no clue on how to do this. I've been trying to recreate disco sounds for a while now to. Guess we have to try harder!
