YA DUDE!!! i just watched that... i'm such a nerd, i love NOVA.
i had a smile on the whole time, it's so fascinating learning abuot that. they didnt go as in depth as i hoped but it was a great intro to whoever might not be familiar with physics. it really sux that no one can even test or observe the sting theory. here's a cool article written in the NYTimes today about multiple universe theory - anthropic principle: http://www.nytimes.com/2003/10/28/s...ace/28COSM.html

I also thought it could have been deeper, but when i started reading string theory articles on the Web, my head started to really spin! An unsimplified version would probably overwhelm the average viewer.
It was interesting to hear that an additional 6 other dimensions may exist. Most ppl when they talk of other dimensions, mean alternate universes. These dimensions in string theory exist at the sub-atomic level, and have nothing to do with weird tales of science-fiction.
It kinda funny that our preconception of a 3-d universe could be as wrong as our previous belief that the earth was flat! Just when you think you know reality science turns everything on its head!

it's almost a big a shock as waking up and learning you've lived your life inside a matrix

I hate getting pictures taken, I don't own a camera, and I don't have any digital pictures of me . So I'm afraid my identity will remain a shroud of mystery. But if I see you I'll def say hi and proclaim my love for it in person
