Replaced the Strobe and 33/45 LED's with Blue ones on my M3D's. Currently looking around for rectangular Blue LED's to replace the pitch LED and will probably do the pop-up lamp as well.

here's a link to blue leds that are already installed on brand new boards. all you have to do is open up the decks, pop out the old boards and pop in the new ones. 15 minutes a deck tops. only $25 shipped for both decks. that's the same price as the leds by them selves. cheers.

nothing yet, just trying to get some ideas. i am going to install blue leds (of course ) and i think i'm going to paint them metalic blue as well. i was thinking about painting them silver. yes i know techs come in silver and that's what i have, but i want to paint them in a really light, bright metallic silver. the kind of silver that just glows, you know? the stock silver is flat and kind of dull. if i do paint them bright silver i'm going to replace the pitch slider decals with a black ones for a nice contrast. i'm going to remove the center click from the pitch sliders for sure. other then that i can't think of anything else to do so i'm looking for ideas.
Don't have my Techs yet but I'm planning on replacing the pitch LED and powerswitch house LED with blue LEDs. I'm gonna replace the pop-up light with the SuperWhite :d
Does pitch tweaking count as modification? Got mine not running at -/+ 12 %. Can become handy for some very slow vinyls. A pain when you're around the 0% point.

yeah, that counts. my friend barry did that to his decks. while that would come in handy, i'm not going to do that to my decks since almost no club is going to have the pitch modded like that. no sense in getting used to the extra range and then never having it when playing out. but it is a cool mod. when i pick up a third table i think i'll do that. i used to have a third table but i sold it.

I have removed the pitch notch, performed simple maintenance such as calibrating the pitch, and adjusting the braking. I also plan on replacing the LED's with a different color soon.
The pitch zero LED doesn't light anymore on mine because I disabled the quartz lock when I took out the pitch notch. Though I wouldn't mind having the LED work when the tables hit pitch 0 since it is part of the quartz lock circuit I don't really think it's possible without a whole lot of work. And the quartz lock is pretty much useless so I'm not going to reactivate it.
