More recently there has been discussion about starting a non-gay night at Fly Nightclub. The club was 3rd runner up by Now Magazine as the top nightclub in the city as an actual space. It the space has actually been used on different television shows as the lighting system is quite detailed. The idea is to play trance/techno/breaks in the mainroom with electropop and new wave in the basement...I wanted to get a sense of what people think of the space and idea just because Fly is traditionally a gay club...but it won't be specifically a gay night...

Personally I've been to Fly once and can say that it was not exactly my cup of tea. So I don't think a "straight night" will actually change much.
