hardstyle bass

been playin with orion pro 3 and really want to recreate this type of off bass sound like the sample of the track here,is it done using a wasp? help wpould be greatly appreciated,even presets! the bit in this clip i mean is the low frequency booowa-boowa-booowa-booowa bass thats pff the kick drum

Most people just use a sample of the bass from Hennes & Cold - The Second Trip. There's a spot where it's just the bass playing on its own where you can take it from.

A couple of other tricks to try that will give you a really hard bass sound:

Take a gabber kick with a pretty apparent tone to it, reverse it and edit it, compress it etc... until it's got the right attack and decay settings. you will get some interesting results from this.

or

Use a 303 bass with no resonance. Mildly distort it (DaTube in Cubase SX works well for this sound). Combine it and your hard as fuck kick drum on a group channel and compress the hell out of that group so that the tail of the kick causes the attack of the bass to slope in. You really need the right kick to get this one to work - think Uberdruck.

That bass sound in the Hennes & Cold - The Second Trip track is exactly what im also looking for , I dled a few mixes of the song but i couldnt find a really clear spot. Is there maybe someone outthere who maybe could upload a few good bass samples in that style? thanks a lot!

personally, i've found that the most notable quality to a hardstyle-type bass is using the ribbon controller to add a "white noise" effect to it.
