Steve Porter has recently become one of my favorite producers. His unique warm, "electro-ish" sound is very mellow and emotional and provides a terrific contrast to the house beat.
Check out the following great productions:
Steve Porter - Definite Form
Steve Porter - The Return
Steve Porter - Vodka Cranberries
I also love his remix of Amber - Anyway!
Wish Steve would get more exposure in 2004...

"Innerpulse", especially the Fade Remix and his "Launch EP" (both on Fade Records) from 1999 are all very good, and certainally worth checking out.
Launch EP:
Steve Porter - Adaptor
Steve Porter - Droning
Steve Porter - Pipe Dream
I'd put down the Steve Porter Mix 2 of Amber - Anyway and "Vodka Cranberries" as his best though.

The best work he has done solo is Definite Form soon to be released on Little Mountain Records. Promos out now.
The stuff he has done as Agent 001 is really good. Bubblebath for one.
He also has a full album Homegrown coming out sometime.

Yes I love Steve Porter! Definately one of my favorite house producers. It looks like he puts so much effort into his tracks. They have so many layers, awesome percussion, awesome melodies, and it feels like theres a million things going on at once but together they sound harmonious. So far my favorite from him is The Return.
I'll definately buy his album when it comes out in the US!
I hope he doesnt get more exposure next year though. Imagine how gay it would be for all the TA's to be like 'omg new Porter track wooooot!' like how it is for G&D and Armin. Stay underground, Steve

John Graham & Steve Porter - 3 days on the 35th
If you like the remix of Inner Laugh you should get Porter's remix of Klinkenberg - Aeronautics. Soo good.
