Not sure on how rare they are, but nobody "big" ever played these to the best of my knowledge. I have the CD single release with them and the Chicane Remix which came in December 1997, 5 months after the original release in July. I'm guessing that nobody played them since they came some time after the original set of mixes and by that time the overall "fuzz" of the track had died down. I think they're a very nice set of remixes and are a very interesting take on the track, and it's a shame that they never generated more attention.

nah, not that rare, ive got all the cds aswell. I own these:

BT - Flaming June (BBE Radio Edit)
BT - Flaming June (BBE Club Mix 1)
BT - Flaming June (BBE Club Mix 2)
BT - Flaming June (BT & PVD Edit)
BT - Flaming June (BT & PVD Mix)
BT - Flaming June (Chicane Remix)
BT - Flaming June (HHC Remix)
BT - Flaming June (Lemon D Remix)
BT - Flaming June (Simon Hale's Orchestrata)
BT - Flaming June (ESCM Album Version)

of course theres the finger burnt and mudblood versions, but they are poor imo. Nothing beats the BT & PVD mix. Lets face it, the bbe mixes were pretty weak on the whole.

not so rare - probably worth £5-6 on ebay. Only people I ever heard play this mix was bbe themselves in a mix they did for Pete Tongs essential selection on Radio 1

I actually think Michael Woods done a good job with the Mudblood version.

But yeh, BT vs PVD mix is definetly the best.

Chicane mix is pretty good too.

Yeh, BT vs. PvD Mix is the best of them all but remember folks, there are BT vs. PvD Original Mix (9:14, ESCM album edit 8:25 or so) which is not exactly the same as BT vs. PvD Remix (8:50, Extended Version 11:06). Original Mix has longer ambient/drum'n'bass/downtempo or whateveryouwannacallit intro & outro and slightly different, smoother buildup while Remix has more energy and less calm parts.

While I agree the BT & PvD mix is the best one I'd say that Flaming June had many good remixes. Those by Chicane, HHC and the abovementioned BBE are all worth playing while the Lemon D remix is drum n bassy and not really my thing and I haven't heard Simon Hale's Orchestrata. My favourite after BT/PvD is probably the HHC remix.
