Refurbished Cans?

What's the consensus on refurbished headphones? I've seen that I can pick up the Sony MDR-V6 for a hair over $50 if they're refurbished. Next step up would be $70+shipping... any advice? I'm also still debating the Sony 7506/V6 versus Sennheiser HD280... from what everyone says, the Sony's seem to be better for louder environments, which is what I might be doing... so... Sony?

I'd say go for it if it's what you really want. Since its direct from them the quality should be just about as good as new, you just won't get the title 'new'. But hell, they're new to you...
