maybe its the 'canadian beetle' i dont know. but, whatever they are they are pissing me off. they look like regular lady bugs. but, they arent, and for some reason they are EVERYWHERE! if i went around once a week in all the corner parts of my house on the floor and collected all the dead 'asian beetles' i would probably get about 60 on a weekly basis. but, something tipped me over the edge a few minutes ago. i was playing some records and noticed a fucking asian beetle trying to crawl into the opening slit part of the pitch slide. little ******s are everywhere. so i blew him out and sent him on his way... any of you have or ever had bug problems?

no, cause only in the dj booth or production forums would someone have encountered a bug crawing on their equipment, probably. if the bug were just crawling on some cd's or soemthing then it would be in the wrong forum, but the bug was crawing into my turntable, literally making a home out of it, or a casket for that matter.

I had this problem at the house I used to live in. I don't get it anymore at the new place. Do you live near a forest or wooded area?

1) Buy liquid Nitrogen
2) Pour said Nitrogen on tables, thereby killing the beetles.
3) Wonder why you didn't bother protecting the tables
4) Buy new tables
5) Ignore Tranc3 from now on

yes i do live near a wooded area, i guess thers no way around it other than moving... so basically ima going to have to learn to live with these beetles for a few more years. i guess i was just ranting about this and hoping for someone else to share their frustration also so i know im not the only one who despises these.... beetles.

Yeah, it used to bug (no pun intended) the shit out of me. I'd move some stuff out of a corner in my room and find at least 4 dead ladybugs. Not to mention I'd open the window and there would be at least 10-20 dead ones on the outer edge of the window sill. That and there would usually be one that was forever flying around in the room. The place I used to live was surrounded by woods and was basically in the middle of nowhere. We moved to an apartment in the city and I really don't see them anymore.

indeed it is. i just moved here for college, and am moving out after. why do you ask, or how do oyu know about this shitty corner of wv? probably through the 'thundering herd' no doubt, every other house here has a marshall flag outside of it, not to mention the car stickers and what not. huntington is a strange place. all the clubs here from what ive gathered play mainly hip hop and country. thats not the strange part. these are two very diferent style that you would think would clash if done in the same club. but that is just what happens here. a club will have 1-3 rooms, and hip hop is always there, then country, then edm. haha, its so segregated, the hip hop room and the country rooms i hear, funny stuff.

But seriously, if I were in your proverbial shoes, I'd do the following:

1) Be absolutely sure that the room was completely sealed.
2) Never eat or drink in that room again.
3) Look up what is it that those beetles don't like, then put it in your room or around your tables. Of course, if it turns out that they don't like something like, say, hungry Man-Eating tigers, I'm not suggesting that you get a couple of hungry Man-Eating tigers and put them in your room.
