Yahel & DJ Miss T - Going Up (isoterra 2004 remix)

Hi all, have recently finished a remix of this classic tune... for those who don't know it, it's from 1999 and was featured on Tiesto's first In Search of Sunrise album.

Full 192kbs download below:

Hope you like

Grate work M8 ...

the bass line with that kick is simply ass kicking !

not 2 much elements used there ..perhaps u should add all kinks of othere instru..meybe FX's too make it more interesting...
and main syn is abit weak ..i thing a more powerfull syn definitly would add much 2 the track......
but otherwise its all grate...
cheers m8

its hard to like something like this, when ya love the original as much as i do...i think its nicely produced and everything just really lacks something for me and becomes a bit monotonous towards the end...id like to hear another synth added or something...

good track; the sounds, kick & bassline, everything sounds pro.
the main lead is good, i like the soudns in the background too; but maybe you could yet add a few things to make it sound deeper, and more addicting.
Overall very good production, pleasant to listen

Comments as I listen:

-Cool sounding pads in the intro, really like them.
-Bassline pretty good, could possibly use a little more mid-range presense though. Kick could use some beefing up too.
-Percs a little simple, try a few other non 909-like samples.
-Breakdown is cool sounding, awesome synth work and good pads, though maybe you could have a thicker bass pad in there.
-Beat sounds a little lacking at the buildup, work on the kick (PM me for samples).

Overall good job, needs a little work in the areas I mentioned but this is really good otherwise.

Thanks guys for the comments... much appreciated. It was really more of an excersise in improving my production techniques rather than to make a really mindblowing track, & there was another melody I wanted to add but didn't think it'd fit in with the mix that well. I'm still happy that people liked it

Dj-Sean, I'll send you a msg in a mo. Percussion samples are my nemesis...

i'm a huge fan of the original, so this better be good...

what a nice, fat kick. Can't say i'm fond of the intro. I like the pads but i think the fading in is kinda cliche. I gotta agree with Black-Dragon about the lead with the main synth, but i'd like to take it a step further. I think the song overall could use more synths/effects. wow, the snare bit at the climax is incredibly cheesy.

overall pretty good track. just needs a bit of polishing.
