Comcast just doubled their internet speed from 1.5 mbps to 3mbps at no extra cost to subscribers!! just unplug modem, wait 60 secs and plug back in...and u're up to the new speed

they did this in michigan back in aug. I think.....just in time for me to move out west and not have comcast available....stupid cox.

Let's all move to New York then. Optimum Online (their cable provider) offers 10Mbps download and 1Mbps upload for less than $40 per month

oh ffs optimum online is better but am stuck with roadrunner..

They did this a while ago in DC also. It was 3mbps when I had comcast.

56k sucks, i live in an area where they don't offer comcast so, i have to stick with sucky 56k.

I wanna play CS so bad but with 56k, i will never b able to do that:'(
