Since we're in storm patrol, I thought you might like to see this.
"With all the news on TV lately about the sub zero weather and snow that the east coast is experiencing, we shouldn't forget that Southern California has its share of devastating weather.
I've attached a photo illustrating the excessive damage caused to a home from a west coast storm that passed through the San Diego area a couple of days ago. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take life for granted!
Warning: The attached picture is quite graphic and may not be suitable for younger viewers
omg it horrible hopefully everyone will survive, best of luck

About 70 degrees or better right now down in Dixie and it's 9 o'clock at night. Don't really care what's going on out on the Pacific coast...

Sorry for making this thread serious, but this is our forecast for tomorrow
TOP PRIORITY
SEVERE WEATHER WARNING
Issued by the Bureau of Meteorology, Brisbane
at 11:00am EST on Thursday the 4th of March 2004
for coastal and adjacent mountain areas between Town of 1770 and Coolangatta.
A tropical low pressure system is expected to develop west of New Caledonia later today and move towards the southwest and deepen. It is expected to be near the Fraser Island coastline Friday morning.
Destructive wind gusts to 120km/h could develop near and south of the low on Friday. The combination of large ocean swells and the high tide Friday morning will produce water levels above the highest tide of the year from Hervey Bay southwards. Heavy rains are likely with some local flooding.
The next Severe Weather warning will be issued at 2pm today.
Bring it the f*ck on!
