I remember when that station was a little more cutting edge (ha...pun). I think it was about 10-15 years ago...then the ownership sold out and it became just another popular music station. Kinda sad.
"WHEEEEEEELS!!!!" *sigh*

I hear that...
I actually went to the CFNY Spirit of Radio Reunion they had at the GUV; was lots of fun.
Shook Deadly Hedley's hand for the many hours of radio that I heard while coming back from the clubs in Toronto to Barrie...
And Allan Cross who's radio show "Ongoing History of New Music" is by far the most informative radio show EVAR!
The information that man has about music in his large cranium is freaky...

Alan Cross' shows was awesome...
deadley headley...I felt like an ass...I "met" him once...I was taking tickets at the door when Tiesto was at the Docks quite a few years ago (Orkidea was awesome too)...except I know NOBODY by sight and the guestlist was passed to me at one point when the person handling it went on a break or something. Thankfully someone else working there recognized all the "VIPs", DJs, etc. as they were coming in...Headley was one of them that I didn't even recognize despite listening to him on the radio all the time :P

i really do miss ongoing history of new music.... i used to listen to 102 a lot...
