does your mixer have a booth output, it is better to go from there directly to your amp for your monitors.
sometimes when you use you computer output there is a delay, so that can mess u up.
thats what I do anyways, my main goes to my input on soundcard, and my booth out put goes to speakers.

I think I am in a similar situation. I have 3 channel numark mixer and I run my two TTs on two of the channels, and the 3rd I hook up to my computer. My sound card is a Turtle Beach SantaCruz which only has 1/8" input and outputs. I have a small 1/8" to RCA adaptor and plug the RCA's in the Line in on channel 3 of my mixer and the 1/8" into one of the sound card outputs. Works fine.

What is wrong with just using the 3rd channel of your mixer? It means you will have to have you mixer on whenever you are using your computer for sound but I don't think it is a big deal.
