I guess this is more for the 21+ ATL TAs. Sorry Gavin..LOL....
Supposedly, there is a new club opening in the midtown area called, COMPOUND. I heard this is sort of a mega club and it's the first time something like this has opened here in Atlanta. The club looks amazing and consists of 3 huge warehouses. Check it out at:

From the looks of this place, I'm thinking this will take over Eleven50's spot for all the big Djs..

That's just in time. My fiance and I are moving down to NC from Jamestown, NY in May. We usually go to The Guvernment in TO and we are def. spoiled as far as really big nice clubs go. We were kind of depressed that we are moving away from it but if this club is like that then it may not be that bad after all. we drive three hours to TO now, so I guess 5 to ATL won't be too bad.

yeah the dance floor looks pretty sweet. glad to know it doesn't look like it will be a pure hip hop club. looks kinda like a train station too. I hope they have fog cannons, haha. too bad it's in midtown though, cuz no matter how bad ass you gotta close at 3. f-city council.

anyway, if anyone goes please post review.

Gavin, not to worry though, 21 and up, you could always try your "id". haha.

anyone heard of any of the resident dj's on there? i think scottaculous should be one, they seem to have a few open slots, haha.

it's also kind of in the middlle of nowhere, in a shitty neighborhood (can anyone say Space???), so they'll probably be able to bump it like mad too

I was planning on checking it out tomorrow but the person i was suppose to go with bailed out on me and now i have no one to go with but i still might go check it out for a bit. The club wont be fully open til early 2005 the lounge and the main dance floor will be open on Friday but i dont think its as massive as alot of people think, dj lilsteven said that the main room was only slightly larger than the riviera but im not sure it could be alot larger. Im hoping the dance floor will hold between 1500-2000 peeps. They better start throwing internatinal dj events there and not just have locals night every weekend. I hope its not another club visions.
