It doesn't, its ridiculously slow. If you just want to record your mix onto the computer, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with OS9, it does everything you need. I'm not too familiar with OS9, but I'm sure there's some kind of sound recording prog on there...
As long as you've got a soundcard in it with a line in, you're good to go. Look for a blue hole (I think line in is blue? maybe its green) on the back, or a hole with a symbol next to it that's like a circle with an arrow pointing into the circle. That's your line in. Don't be tempted to use the mic input, it won't give good results.
Then, you need a cable. This is a stereo RCA to stereo minijack (1/8" jack). You should be able to find this at Radioshack or any electronics/audio/hi-fi store.
