Blue Amazon - The Other Love... what an amazing track!
Just bought it on Direction Records the other day, I must've listened to it so many times by now that I know it by heart.
The A side is Blue Amazon - The Other Love which is more on the uplifting side of trance. Also has a tinge of classic trance feel to it, makes me wanna break out all the old Cygnus X-Positron orig...
The B side is Darren Tate vs. Blue Amazon - No Other Love ( orig ver),
havnt really gotten into it yet... a little bit less originality and class then side A. But definitely has the Darren tate Epic Trance signature that makes him a top producer.
All in all the record is a 9.1

i listened to it in the record shop. Nothing special mate... dunno how you gave it a 9 but beats the shit out of me. Sunds just like another uplifter, nothing groundbreaking nothing amazing. So I give it a 6.5!
To me 9 is Andian Beatiful Things or Suburban Train. Everyone hear just gives every new track a 9 or a 10 like its a bloody revolution.

Because its got an explosive and original bass line, an original male chant and is a rework of a classic. Plus it goes off in clubs.
"9.5/10"

I think it sucks mediocre ass, like every other Darren Tate production.
Just my two cents.

Haha. Bassline is very average to me. Marco V and Above & Beyond have explosive basslines and this comes nowhere near it. If someone like BT, Ferry, Oakie or Tiesto rework an old classic they get hammered for even trying.
So his got an original male chant and I should give it a 9? Give me a break mate!

Pretty much agree apart from Let the Light Shine In, mainly thanks to Jono from A&B who made it good. I still stand by my 6.5 for this tune coz I think its very average!

I don't know why you really care what scores other people give them... sometimes it seems they think 8 is the score you give to tracks that are utter toss.
