DJ Switch - Liquid Specialist Volumes 1 + 2 (for TA's interested in Liquid Drum&Bass)
A different side to Drum & Bass rather than the more popular jump-up stuff. Liquid is more on the smooth, uplifting, funky side of dnb. Highly recommend for any fresh heads who are already into/starting to get into drum & bass, jungle, etc. If any of it sounds appealing check the mixes:
01: Greg Packer - Luv Dup
02: Nu Tone - Get It On
03: Calibre - Hold Back (Jah)
04: Mijatoho - Shape (Hidden Agenda Remix)
05: Breakage - Mother Earth
06: Sonic - Then
07: Matrix & Danny J - Paradiso
08: Dopeskillz - Naxenema
09: Total Science - Good Love
10: Ikon - Vai E Vem (Nu Tone Remix)
11: Heist - Show Me
12: Total Science - Tight Fit
13: Total Science - Chicken In A Basket
14: Nu Tone - Feel It
15: Outlook - In My Head
16: Laroque - Duality
17: Makoto - Joy (Instrumental)
18: Nu Tone - Breath
19: Greg Packer - Wonderful Day Part 1
20: Makoto - T.I.M.E
01: Uncut - Chinese Silk (Calibre Remix)
02: Cyantific - Quiet Star
03: London Elektricity - Fast Soul Music (Nu Tone Remix)
04: Hive - Last Call
05: M.I.S.T - Nu Wave
06: Total Science - Good Love
07: Sonic - Sunday Morning
08: Nu Tone - Jazm
09: London Elektricity - The Great Drum & Bass Swindle
10: High Contrast - Make It Tonight
11: D.Kay - Its On The Way
12: SKC - Heart Of Love
13: M.I.S.T - Back 2 Love
14: Nu Tone - Vital Organ
15: Breakage - Mars
16: Mouly - Fall Into You

Any feedback, post em up

Ooh you have the hospital logo in your sig, I'm gonna take a listen to this.
Edit: This is pretty sweet, first track is a remix of Duke's "So In Love With You" (which is, while rather cheesy, a classic in my book because of the time I first heard it). Second track is (I think) a remix of Chris Rusris' "Jack the Sample" - another great track.

Wow, didn't know that. Am Impressed by your knowledge of tunes
Btw, I'd say Volume 2 has a more uplifting feel to it and also has more tunes thrown in there off the Hospital label. Check it out if you haven't already!

First mix was mint, definitely going to download the second one.
Here's low-quality samples of those tracks I mentioned:
They're short too, mere clips, but you can see the resemblance. Not sure if they're the originals, but afaik they are.

I checked the samples you posted and your definately right about Duke's 'So In Love With You' - Same vocals used in Greg Packer's 'Luv Dup' just edited and arranged differently. That Duke tune sounds wierd because I originally heard the vocals on the Greg Packer piece
Not sure about the 'Jack The Sample' tune though. I can just recognise a few vocal samples similarly used in the tune Nu Tone - 'Get It On' ...but not all of them.
Be sure to let me know what you think of the second mix

yummmmm... i see me some Breakage i've been needing something to feel good on my ears.. cant wait to listen.. Thanks !
This is the first mix I've listened to all the way through in a looong time I loved the diverse sounds, especially all the jazzy elements It seems you incorporated alot of variety + it meshed well... making for a very unpredictable, never boring listen !! This was very refreshing to me. Sophisticated D&B to say the least @ 17:00 Thanks again ! The 2nd mix is a must for me

Wow you do the mixes live? Or is it a studio mix? Either way, the mixing is definitely up there.
Listened to Vol.2 - also very good, although I was expecting a bit more energy...guess I've gotten used to High Contrast's sets.
Edit: Would you happen to have a cue sheet by any chance?

Both mixes were recorded here at home on me Tech's using Soundforge, strictly vinyl
As for the cue sheets, I actually dunno how to make one... ...but I've been meaning to learn because I've had a bunch of peeps requesting some. Surely you can make a cue sheet in Soundforge using the markers?
Anyway cheers for your comments once again, much appreciated
I'll try and get a cue sheet sorted tommorrow and I'll get one posted up for each mix.
