Sincerely, I don't think ethnic background really matters when both people grew up in the same place. Even if the people involved from different cities/provinces/countries, cultural shock is not something hard to deal with as long as you're willing to understand/accept the differences that may appear during the relationship. In fact, I think that ethnicity is over-rated, as we're just individuals with the same essence
