always gonna be 10/10..... i love the coldplay intro too
keep up the great work!!
How about some honesty? This mix was far from a 10/10.
I don't mean to be an ass but your transitioning needs some... ok, lots of work. I liked a lot of the tracks you played but only a couple transitions were on beat. Sometimes you didn't even seem to attempt to correct the beats when they got of either. Some of the tracks sounded really bad mixed together too.
I have to give you props though just for playing ILS - MUSIC (G&D Mix). You're only the 3rd person (me included) I've ever know to play it. Beautiful track.
You've got decent taste but just need to work on the skills.

You're making it sound like I trainwrecked my way through the set, when in reality, if there were errors during the transitions, they were not very noticeable. You're complaining about tiny mismatches, not transitions being entirely "off beat."
I welcome criticism, but I think you're overstating your complaint.

In my opinion, you DID trainwreck thoughout the entire set. I wasn't going to use such a blunt word but you don't seem to want my help. Some people obviously enjoyed the mix (or at least said they did). What good is that doing you? I'm just trying to be honest and give you advice (it's called constructive criticism), take it or leave it. My goal here is not to bash amatuer djs, I wouldn't have spent the time to write out such a descriptive paragraph in the pm explaining how each mix could have been better. When you grow as a dj (in a year or so), you will listen to this mix and realize that it's not very good.
I really like this mix, as far as track selection, and I love breaks, but I'd have to agree as far as transitions . . . On A Bridge -> After All, the new track is introduced well, but it is faster than the first one. You don't correct this, and it gets sounding pretty obvious. However, I do like some of the ways you tried to transition, I thought you were very conscientious of that. Keep up the good work.
