Marco was very enthusiastic even with the light attendance. I really have no complaints, same for venue wise. I mean the beer was cheap, tickets were cheap, a/c was good, bartender girl was cute, sound was good, couches were comfy, and marco spun great. Like sean said, the attendance was light, but that will improve as spundae gets word out. Me and digital we're talking bout how since hyperia went out, this town kinda died for awhile, and this should slowly pick things back up.
We got there at about 11ish (figured marco would come on at around 1), but he came on at 12, so, unfortunately didnt get to hear too much of the openers. From what I did hear, good stuff a lot of recognized tracks, and I'd like an ID on the last track before marco came on.
Anyway, was nice to finally meet all of you sean, daydream, numberjuan, digitalbreach, prestige, vanfecto, emerald, mavo......I think i met a couple other TA's and didnt even know it.
Overall, a good night. Definitely looking forward to Armin and PVD.

Dude I was going to go to their gig in Austin on Monday but then I found out its the same day as my sisters graduation. *sigh* Who knows when I'll get to see APC again since Maynard will probably start working with TOOL on their next album.
Did they play any good covers or have any surprises in store. For their opening gig on Halloween last year here in S@-town they played a bad ass cover of Metallica - Master of Puppets for an encore. It was one of THE BEST concerts ive ever been to.
At least I have Metallica to look forward to in Nov.
ps It sucks there was a small turnout for Marco V. The place looks really small too. Oh well at least you guys had fun.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. true true, at one point we were actually letting in people for free to get some sort of crowd. but as always it is not quantity but quality, we at least had that.
feet are killing me right now,

You gotta understand - Quantity IS important. It might have been great, but the light attendance there may very well keep Spundae from booking him in Houston again for awhile. Without money coming in, it's hard for them to create a budget for big DJs.
