anyone knows how to calculate your delay time in ms (miliseconds)to your bpm? I'm too lazy to find it myself.

60 / bpm * (the steps you want /4) e.g.: 140 bpm with 3 step delay: 60 / 140 * (3/4) = 0.321ms
http://www.analogx.com/contents/dow...audio/delay.htm there you go
60,000 /tempo Simple as that

hopefully you don't have one of those crappy delays that doesn't sync to your BPM automatically.. if you do.. get another delay

as I have a lot of yamaha gear (that doesn't feature tempo sync) such a counter is usefull and I wouldn't call them crappy, I love the yamaha efx, I don't care they don't have sync they do everything I want them to do.
