I have neither a Xone 62 nor a DJM600, but I have the Xone32.
I think the Cue system is the same for the Xones, but Im not exactly sure.
My buddy has the Vestax PMC05-promk2 and I have a American DJ Q2422. I would use his at his house and mines at my house. I was more used to cueing useing a cue-fader(Vestax), as that is what I used when I used to do dj regularly and do shows. Transitioning from Vestax to American DJ was not that big a deal.
When I had transitioned to the Xone 32 and cue'd records up/beatmatched, I do remember that it was slightly more difficult to beat match. I was really used to hearing both channels in both earphones really loud.
It wasn't extremely difficult to make the transition to the new mixer, but an adjustment period of about 1 week did occur.
I am totally comfortable with the Xone 32 cue system now. When I go back to my friends house to mix on his rig, I try to emulate the volume and cueing conditions that my Xone 32 gives me in my earphones.
From adjusting to the cue system on the Xone 32 , my ears don't tire as fast and I can mix for a longer period of time.
On the Xone 32, I can hear EQ changes when my cue selector is set to the middle between CUE and MASTER. When I DJ, I pretty much keep the CUE selector set to the middle.
It used to be hard for me to use a mixer that has a different CUE system than the vestax, but ever since I learned the Xone 32, its far easier for me to adjust to mixers that I haven't used before.
