Random side throughts to follow:
God and whatever form most people believe it to be is so widespread that you can't get away from it. It's on our money and in the Pledge of Allegiance. Since church and state is supposed to be separate, why do Atheists have to deal with this? I mean...I'm cool with people who have faith. To each their own, right? But I don't force my views on them, so why are theirs forced on me? |
I hear ya man, I'm the same way, people can believe in whatever they want, but don't force it on me, put I look at it this way, if I was in court and they said "Do you swear to tell the truth, so help thee god" (or whatever it is), I would be like "sure", then lie out my ass about everything.
an fuk it, I need more beer.
