If not a SmacPro30 then what???

So.... waiting for the Smacpro30 for more than a month and I finally get the news that Ecler does not know when it will ever arrive. So I have to buy something else or keep witing untill.....

I really liked that mixer and was gonna get it for less than $400. Now I have to start all over again.
Which mixer to get?

I kindly and happily request suggestions within that priceline and quality. Many thanks

where are you ordering from? i got mine from www.audio-depot.com in about 3 or 4 days. they seem to always have it in stock.

yeah thanks. Seems what everyone recommends for mid-price mixers. But there's just something I don't like 'bout'em. What I'm really concerned about is sound and build quality.

If youre worried about sound and build quality, I can tell you that vestax's build quality is MUCH better than ecler. As far as sound goes, I think both ecler and vestax are fine. But when i tried the smac 40 i cant tell you how poor the build quality felt...in reality the build quality is probably pretty good, but the eqs were wobbly, and that just made it feel really cheap.

i build on vestax is tight....knobs are solid ....they are built well.....the sound outta them isn't so bad either....i'm a mixer buy'n mess....i owned alot of mixers...vestax is fair priced decent mixer.....i would take it over the smac's...although i can't stand that nasty gold color......but u should go beyond looks

Tommorow i'm going to get a Vestax PCV-275.

IMO the best mixer in the price range up to €500 here in Holland.

Ecler are very good mixer, but battle mixer. SMAC is a more budget mixer and not as good as a PCV-275. I've tried the PCV-175 en de qaulity was very good. Faders and knobs felt realy good. Sound in headphones was also better then i'm used to have with my shity no name mixer. PCV-275 is even better then 175, anyway, the EQ is better if i have to believe the storries.

Tommorow i'll try it at home and i'll give my review of it.
