New headphones, any feedback?

I just bought new headphones, havent got them yet, but I was wondering if anyone got some feedback on these. The headphones i bought are: Pioneer HDJ-1000 Professional. I was thinking about buying Sony MDRV-700 DJ Headphones, but tho iv heard alot of good things about them, Iv also heard some really bad ones...

Anyone use these? Are they any good?

Loads of threads on these.

I have both- use the pioneers now 99% of the time, they beat the sonys hands down.
Sonys are very good- but have a tendancy to break and crack in half, and sony dont cover under warranty.
Pioneer on the other hand, do.

well i have the sony mdr-700's i think their kick ass but many would argue otherwise. i like the design of the headphones and the fact that i got a warinty on them that will last 3 years meaning if they break i can get em replaced free. but yeah others would argue . What i sugest is listen to peoples opinions then go out and try em each out and see what you like best

I have the Sony headphones and they work mint. As long as you take care of them and don't step on them like I other people must of done..you'll be fine..hehe..it really depends on your personal needs..
do you want an exact fit over your ears or do you want a set that you could use as ear muffs lol

I have the Sonys, and bought the Pioneers for my ex-girlfriend. I'm jealous, the Pioneers are much better.
