It's a good sign if there isn't too much swelling. Still, if you can't put weight on it you should probably see a doctor about it. I might give it a day or two to see if there's any improvement, but that's more of a personal preference.
Either way, I suggest RICE (rest, ice, compression e.g. ace bandage, elevation) until you can get in to see a doctor. It will also speed up the healing process if the injury is not actually a break.
